Fall Out Boy bassist and songwriter Pete Wentz recently married popstar and Jessicas's younger sister Ashlee Simpson in a ceremony that was like a fairy tale... literally. Wentz and Simpson had a magical, “Alice in Wonderland” themed ceremony at Ashlee's parent's house in Encinco, California. Joe Simpson, Ashlee's dad, served as the master of ceremonies, telling embarrassing stories about his youngest daughter, while big sis Jessica served as a bridesmaid and delivered an emotional toast. Ashlee looked luminous in an ivory lace Monique Lhuillier dress blinged up with a diamond necklace and matching earrings, and Wentz was dashing in his tux by Dior Homme, while Jessica and the other bridesmaids wore black Vera Wang gowns. Adding to the whimsical vibe of the event was Hemingway, Wentz's beloved English bulldog, doing the ringbearer duties, and an “Alice” themed cake with a top hat, teapot, stopwatch, and pot of flowers on top of it. The A list guests, who were asked to dress in dark colors, included Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, “Scrubs” star Donald Faison, and Jessica's boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo. At the reception, Ashlee changed into a “sexy black party dress” as guests sat around tables with black beauty rose centerpieces, danced the night away to tracks played by a DJ, enjoyed delicious food from celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, and sipped from glasses of top of the line Veuve Cliquot champage. Ashlee and Pete's version of Wonderland was created under white tents decorated with white couches with red pillows, black rugs, black chandeliers, and an endless supply of red roses. At the end of the night, guests were given a red cookie that continued the “Alice In Wonderland” theme... it said “Eat Me” across the front of it.
